2 Sisters ~ Anything Goes

Good morning!! It's challenge day at 2 Sisters.  This week we are being sponsored by 2 amazing sponsors.  The Digi Garden and The Greeting Farm.  Our challenge is ANYTHING GOES.  For my card today I used an image from The Digi Garden.  This image is called Lottie.

I started with a black card base.  I added a pink dot patterned paper to one side and a green floral patterened paper to the other side.  I punched a strip of orange card stock using an eyelet lace border punch and added a piece of black ribbon to it.  Then added it going down the center of the card.  I colored the image using prisma color pencils and backed it in black card stock and added it to the pink side of the card.  I stamped my sentiment directly onto the green patterned paper. The sentiment says....  "If you're feeling blue - try painting yourself a different color".   I added 3 bright green paper daisies to the black ribbon and then added pink sprinkles to the center of each flower.

Inspired by Favorite Song

Here is my next card as a guest designer at Creative Stamp Friends.  The challenge actually began this past Monday so I'm a few days late getting it posted but it's just been that crazy around my house this week.  This week's challenge is to create a card/project inspired by your favorite song.  The song I chose to use is a new song by The News Boys called God's Not Dead.  I love this song and can't help but turn up the radio each time it's on.  So the inspiration I used was to create an Easter card  using the word rejoice.  Rejoice because God's not dead.  Here's my card......

I stamped the image and sentiment directly onto the white card base and inked around the edges using a pastel blue chalk ink pad.  I colored the image using crayola and prisma color pencils. I added 3 purple pearls to the upper corner.

Here is the song that I used to inspire this card......

Basket Of Love

It's time for a new challenge over at 2 Sisters.  This week we are being sponsored by Digi Doodle Shop and we have the theme of HEARTS
I created the card to look like a cabinet with a basket sitting on top.  To do this I started with a card base of white.  I added light pink card stock to the top of the card. I added a strip of thin white card stock down the center of the bottom white portion. Then I cut a strip of red card stock that I punched the edge using a lace heart border punch and added it across the center of the card.  I cut a piece of white card stock and punch around three of the sides using an eyelet lace border punch.  I added it to the center of the red strip of card stock.  The image I used is called Basket Of Love.  I colored it using crayola and prisma color pencils. I cut the image completely out and added it to the center of the punched white card stock.  To give the look of door knobs I added 2 pink sprinkles on either side of the thin strip of white.

Good evening everyone!  Tonight is the first chance that I've had to show you my DT card for this week's challenge at 2 Sisters.  I figure a couple days late is better than never right?  Well, anyway hope you all think it was worth the wait........

Our challenge this week is RED and/or PINK and WHITE.  We are being sponsored by Stitchy Bear Stamps.  The image I used is called Stupid Cupid.
I started with a red card base. I cut a piece of pink just a little smaller than the base.  I added faux stitching around the edges. I added garnet red glitter glue to the sunglasses, arrows and sash.  I also added crystal stickles to the wings.  I stamped the sentiment on white card stock and then backed it in red card stock.  I added garnet red glitter glue to the heart on the sentiment.  I finished off the card by adding 3 red card stock hearts. Love You

Here is a love card that I created using Bird Swing from Wee Stamps.
I stared with a white card base.  I added a pastel yellow piece of card stock that I cut just a little smaller than the base. I cut a strip of yellow stripped patterned paper and added a piece of white card stock at the bottom that I had punched using an eyelet lace border punch. I colored the image using crayola and prisma color pencils. I cut it out in an oval, backed it in pastel yellow and then again in white. I cut around it using scallop scissors. I backed the image in pastel yellow card stock and then again in white card stock.  I added 2 yellow paper daisies to the bottom corner of the image and then added a white pearl to the center of each. I also added 3 white pearls to the upper corner.
